2.5 and Green Track

I think I figured out how to fix this template. It’s the Green track template. I was thinking about modifying it, but I really think that the graphic really does go along with the title of my blog… Along the Journey. But now I just need to write about the journey… etc…
Tonight is Amy’s first workout at the Y. She’s scheduled to meet with a trainer who will come up with a circuit for her to complete and show her how to work the machines. I go either Friday night or next Thursday, I can’t remember which day I do the workout schedule and which day I have a physical assesment.
I’m paying attention to this blog again… for how long? Who knows…
You can count on one hand…

the number of times I’ve updated in 2005. And for that I’m not sorry. Once again, as in all these posts, I’ve just been doing other things, and not very productive things at that.
This weekend I had one of the toughest things to do ever…. that I can remember(funny how life is like that, we quickly forget the things that are so hard, because once they’re over with, they’re over with, if that makes any sense). Anyway. Saturday morning after spending the morning yelling at the dog and the kid to stop rough housing with the dog, and yelling at the dog some more. I decided that I’d stop putting off the inevitable, no matter how hard it was going to be. I talked with Caleb about it. Stella was going to live with some people that would be able to take care of her better than we would. That there was another boy, who needs a dog, and Stella would be a great dog for that boy. We took a few pictures of the dog and the boy, and Stella and I got in the car and headed for the pound. I bawled on the way there. It brings tears to my eyes as I type. It was best for my family, for the sanity of my wife, and the safety of my kids, especially Bo. The last two days it’s definately felt like something was missing. And it was. This morning it was nice not having to take the dog out, as has interupted my routine for the last 9 months. I’m not worried about her jumping up and getting my work clothes muddy, or hairy. I know it’s for the best, but I’m having a hard time letting go.
Wow….

Baby Got Book made BoingBoing!. Next it’ll be MeFi. Thanks to the BoingBoing post I found out that the video is by Dan Smith. I just wish I could’ve figured it out. There were enough clues, I’m sure I googled Dan Smith and Southpaw- but they’re all very common words. The cool thing is that Dan is almost local! He’s also got some other videos on his site. It was a fun ride. I almost wish I didn’t know any more!

Click the more inside for a very cool video. Found via Relevant (thanks Jason)
(VIDEO WAS HERE!!)
The Relevant link points to Dave Miyamasu’s page, he’s a student at Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio. For about a semester I was a student at Miami University in Middletown, Ohio, which is about 20 minutes from where my parents live and about 5 minutes from the Worlds Largest Jesus Statue
(edit) I found this page with what seems to be similar lyrics, but not completely. Perhaps this was/is inspired by/for the video. I’ve sent an email off to the address on that page to see what she has to say.
(edited 2/4) I had to take the video off the page cause it was using up my bandwidth… and I temporarily had exceded the 5 Gb of transfer I have for the month!! in 4 days. That means that I served that file over 400 times in 4 days. Very cool. IF anyone has another site to mirror it on. let me know.
