Last week I greeted Stella when I got home from work. Most of the time she’s happier to see me than Amy and Caleb. I’m just testing out posting from Flickr…

It’s 11am. I’m at home. I’ve been not feeling well all week, and yesterday about 4pm I got a headache, that hasn’t gone completely away yet. I feel fine laying down, but as soon as I’m up and walking around or sitting at the computer it comes back. I also have a little cough. I think it’s probably just a flu, Amy thinks I’m dying. Perhaps today I’ll get some pictures up. Maybe.

Last night after church we went to Applebees. Half price appetizers rule. I got the boneless wings with the HOT sauce, and onion peels. At 10:00. I ate most of them. Couldn’t force myself to eat the rest. Amy helped with the onion peels. I ate a bunch of tums throughout the night…. and I’m still feeling it today.

Well I didn’t get around to posting any pictures yesterday, something screwy is happening when I try to remote in to my home machine. I haven’t had a chance to fix it yet.

I’m corresponding with this guy I found on Craigslist about trading a computer for a New-In-Box PS2 with 2 controllers and 2 games. I’m excited about that. Another cool thing I’ve found recently is the Baltimore Freecycle. Everyone should check out FreeCycle - there’s groups all over the place.

I’m bored and tired, and have a nice quiet corner to lay in. When I started here I had a great window seat. Last Friday, they moved me to the corner. No window. In fact, if I look out my cube I have two walls to look at, and a set of doors, that when they’re opened sounds like your along the flight path of a 747. It’s going to take me a while to not turn around everytime someone goes through those doors. So now, I’m off in a corner, I could just nod off if I wanted to, Oh how I want to, but I’d get caught and fired. I really should probably be working, or checking my tickets and seeing what needs to get done today, but for now I’ll write. This corner here is a great tool for procrastinating, nosy people just can’t amble by my desk like they used to.

Last week we bought a new camera. It’s the Cannon Powershot A75. It’s a beautiful thing. It really is. So much better than our Mavica, that in it’s last days would take pictures and then not let us have them back when we’d try to pull them off the disks. We get to take gianormous pictures now…. with adjustable shutter speed, and aperature, and manual white balance. I don’t know what most of those things mean but we do get to take advantage of them. I was looking for some pictures to upload that I had taken with the camera, but couldn’t find any I liked. I did find a picture I took of Caleb where he looks particularly like Brain from Pinky and the Brain. I’ll have to upload that one. Perhaps later when I’m procrastinating differently by remoting in to my computer at home.

Well we’re both running Wordpress now. After a catastrophe on our webhost, Movable Type on Amy’s site was not working properly, and instead of troubleshooting a buggy MT install, I decided I’d spend 10 minutes and install wordpress and as expected, it worked as expected, faster than fixing the MT.

As a non-blogger, I volunteered to have the next Baltimore Bloggers meeting here at our house, that’ll let Amy and the kid participate. 8/28- probably early afternoon, going into late night. We’ll discuss it more later.

Speaking of the kid, our next one, will be a boy as well. I was very excited about having a baby girl, but it’s not. So I’m trying to psyche myself into being excited about having a boy. There are a few other b’more bloggers expecting children around the same time, DaB and MB. That’s all that I know of. Let me know if there are.

Well maybe I’ll keep up with this…. probably not.
