Another day, for you and me, in paradise, para- paradise! :-)

Well one more day that Amy carries around this growth that protrudes from her stomach, an alien brewing inside waiting to get out. The only way we know it’s living or growing is the various rising and moving of her stomach. Working hard to find it’s way, scratch its way to the surface- at least thats what I imagine- what it really is, my angel- my Caleb-letting mommy know that he’s still there. Letting mommy know that he cares that she’s providing for him, letting her know with each rise and fall of her stomach, the ridges moving, swelling, eventually he’s asleep. Another 20 minutes of waiting, wondering, what’s going on.

This weekend has been frag-filled- I’ve been playing Unreal Tournament since I got my new computer. I’ve had the game for a while, and haven’t been able to play it because of hardware limitations, but now I can…. and have!! I’m sure that Amy’s quite sick of me playing. I have never really played many games on the computer, but now that I can I want to.

Caleb may or may not be making an appearance this week. While at K-Mart today, Amy checked her blood pressure and it was very good. The condition that needs to be met in order for her to be induced is that her blood pressure be elevated. I’ve been looking forward to it, but it’d be a shame if he’s not here. We’ve been expecting it this week, and now he may not even come. well.

Listening to Radiou this morning, they had a commercial for Purple Door Festival. Darin and Bryan and I went to the very first Purple Door back in 96- I remember it almost like it was yesterday. This year it’s at Ski Roundtop- the first year it was at Lancaster High School- we saw Supertones, FIF, Mortal, bunches of others. I remember running through the grounds with little propellers on our heads, and buying almost anything I could- I had just started working, making $10/hr, didn’t have any bills or anything- just took my money, bought everything I could! That was the weekend before I left to come to Ohio the first time. Darin had been out here with dad, getting used to stuff, finding us a house, etc… We didn’t even know the address of our house, maybe that’s why I never got my 7ball subscription, I did get their T-Shirt!

Posted some pictures of the workshopping of Hood- an original musical being produced by The Rising Phoenix Theatre Company in March.

It sounds like I may have a baby on Monday or Tuesday. That’d be awesome. Amy called me at work to tell me. I went to talk to my boss about time off and other things of that nature. Thinking about it I get all teary eyed. I’m not even sure why. I think I’m scared, excited, cautious. I trust our doctors. I really do. It’d be best for Amy if we could have the baby this early into her “bed rest”, so that we’re not entirely broke as she goes into short term disablitity. I’m not sure whether my anxiety is over the labor and delivery or the extraneous other stuff that come along with it…. responsibility, money, hospitals, oh the list doesn’t look to long when I write it out, but it definately feels overwhelming. On the other end, I’m not sure what I’m thinking. Do I sound confused? I am. I can’t begin to imagine what Amy’s feeling. Well be praying for us everyone.

Anyone seen that grilled steak taco commercial for Taco Bell- it’s hilarious, I love it- …. I’m just a guy, just a dude, and I’m hungry…. hungry for a grilled steak taco, steaks the king of meat, so I run, so I walk cause I can’t find my horse to ride on… etc.. it’s the funniest….. well next to the Jordan/Vern Troyer commercial about 1800 collect, where mini-me talks about beating jordan at basketball. I like that one too.

Tomorrow I’m getting my computer parts! Woo Hoo!

  • 100Mhz Thunderbird
  • 256Mb Ram
  • 200Mhz Front Side Bus Motherboard
Drop my hard drives in, cd-rom in, video card in, and vavoom! Speedy little ‘puter. I can’t wait. Last time I was having parts delivered by UPS it took absolutely forever…. I mean they almost sent the stuff back to Callifornia because they couldn’t meet me to deliver them. Now I’ve got tomorrow off, so that I can be here when it’s delivered. But I’m a bit worried, because I’ve got to go with Amy tomorrow to her Ultrasound…. I’m worried that they’ll try to come while I’m with her.

Woke up his morning, chiling in front of the tv. I started watching Dave Mirras Slim Jim Tour- it’s like a real world style comentary by the riders and stuff. Sometimes I wished that decided to become a vert rider or any type of rider. It’s amazing that type of things these guys can pull off. so fast, so hight, so crazy. I love watching this stuff. And then getting to hear the commentary and such makes it so much better.

Amy says that if I don’t add an entry soon, people are going to think that I’ve had a baby. ;-) Well no, I’ve not had a baby, nor has my wife. But it can’t be too far away- only about 3 weeks or so. It’s crazy how fast this is going by. Just zooming….

Last night I finished reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets- I had read the first one several months ago. I don’t know about you, but I’m really enjoying this series. She’s an excellent writter, with an amazing imagination. Sometimes when I’m reading I think that I would love to be able to write fiction, instead of dialog/journal type stuff. I don’t know. I guess I need to practice.

Well our friend Stacey is here for the weekend. She’s gonna be leaving either tomorrow or Monday morning. We always feel bad, cause we don’t entertain her much, she comes, we hang out, not much to do out here. We went to Penn Station for lunch, then we went to Hobby Lobby to get some stuff to make a scrapbook. We’ve never done scrapbooks before, so we don’t really know what to buy or where to start. I’ve found Scrapbooking dot com. We’ll be reading up. We’ve got several friends who are Creative Memories consultants, but we’ve never been to a class or anything. It always seems so expensive. I don’t know.
